Overview

These are the controls you have over your data in Gym AI Tracker and where to find them. We don't sell your data, show ads or track you.

Data You Can Control

Share data with AI AI features send your request and the data it needs (such as workouts, body weight, nutrition, injuries you type in, food photos, exercise videos and AI Trainer messages) to our AI provider. The App asks before anything is sent. Switch it off any time in Settings → Share data with AI; the choice is saved on each device. AI features are for users aged 18 and over.

What your trainer sees A connected trainer always sees your email address, your nutrition logs and goals, and the workouts you did from routines they assigned. Turn on "Share all my workouts" in My Trainer to also share your other workouts, routines and custom exercises; it is off by default. Disconnect in My Trainer at any time and the trainer loses access straight away.

My Trainer

Apple Health On iPhone the App can save workouts and body measurements to Apple Health and read workout calories for your nutrition dashboard. Data read from Apple Health stays on your device. Turn it on or off in Settings → Apple Health, and manage permissions in the Health app or iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

Exercise videos Videos and their form analyses are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. To delete one sooner, open it from your past analyses in Video Form Analysis and delete the video.

Food photos Photos sent for nutrition analysis are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. To have one deleted sooner, email us.

Auto-deleted

AI Trainer conversations Conversations are kept so you can continue them. Delete any conversation from the AI Trainer conversation history, on any plan.

Exercise photos Only you can open your exercise photos; your trainer can't. Remove a photo from the workout and the copy on our server is removed automatically.

Trainer profile If you are a trainer, your profile appears in the marketplace only while "List on Marketplace" is on in your trainer profile and your Trainer plan is active.

Guest mode Use the App without an account. Your data stays on your device and nothing is sent to us.

No account

Export Your Data

Go to Settings > Export Data to download your synced data as JSON or CSV (Premium plan and above). On any plan you can also email us for a copy of the data we hold about you.

Delete Your Account

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Your account and its data are deleted from our servers straight away, including photos, videos, AI conversations, your trainer profile and your reviews. Copies in backups disappear as the backups are replaced.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing us from the address on the account.

No Tracking or Ads

Gym AI Tracker does not show ads, does not track you across other apps or websites, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We don't use advertising identifiers or fingerprinting, and our website sets no cookies.

Your Rights

Under GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Latvia that is the Data State Inspectorate, www.dvi.gov.lv.
