Privacy Overview
This page is a short summary of what data Gym AI Tracker collects and why. The Privacy Policy is the full, binding description, and Your Privacy Choices shows how to control your data.

Guest mode data, and training, body and nutrition data on the free plan (unless you sync through a trainer), stays on your device. Data read from Apple Health is only shown on your device and is never sent to us.
Data Linked to You
Everything we collect is linked to your account and used only to provide the App. None of it is used for tracking or advertising.
Data Not Collected
The App contains no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, crash-reporting or tracking tools, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Who Receives Data
AI provider
Only if you allow it. AI features send your request and the data it needs, such as workouts, body weight, nutrition, injuries you type in, AI Trainer messages, food photos and exercise videos. Your name, email and account ID are not sent, but messages, photos and videos go as they are, so this is not anonymous. Switch it off in Settings → Share data with AI. AI features are for users aged 18 and over.
Your trainer
If you connect to a trainer, they see your email address, your nutrition logs and goals and the workouts from routines they assigned, plus all your workouts, routines and custom exercises if you turn on "Share all my workouts". They never see your photos, videos, AI chats or Measurements screen. You can disconnect at any time.
Other users
Public trainer profiles and reviews are visible to all users of the App. Reviews are shown without the reviewer's name.
Service providers
Our hosting provider (servers, database, exercise photos), our cloud storage provider (exercise videos and food photos) and our email provider (verification, password reset and account notice emails) process data for us. Apple handles Sign in with Apple, and the App Store (or Google Play) handles payments. Food searches go to food databases without any personal data.
Data Storage and Security
- All connections are encrypted (HTTPS)
- Passwords are stored only as secure hashes
- Sign-in sessions renew regularly and end when you sign out
- Exercise photos can only be opened by their owner; videos and food photos are private to your account
- Protection against brute-force attacks and abuse
Data Retention & Deletion
- Account and synced data: until you delete it or your account
- Exercise videos and food photos: deleted automatically 30 days after upload
- AI Trainer conversations: until you delete them or your account
- Exercise photos on our server: while a synced workout uses them
- Guest and free-plan data: on your device until you delete the App or reset its data
Delete your account and all associated data in the App under Settings > Account > Delete Account, or by emailing support@gymaitracker.com. Data is removed from our servers straight away; backup copies disappear as backups are replaced.
